This is the last time we will come 1. Appitizers cold 2. Longggggg wait for food seemed unorganized Parties coming in after us had their food long before us 3. Never was asked if we wanted drinks or tea 4. Food was average 5. Server never came to see if we needed anything or refill of water 6. Price to value. Too high

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. Employees are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. If you would enjoy native Chinese food, ask for another menu. Try Tie Ban Niu.

i read one review. let me tell you. this place does carry chow main, they offer it with different types of meat or just plane. i recomed you order the sesame shrimp, tripple kung pao, shrimp fried rice. the steam rice is free along with the herbal tea.I always spend around 30 to 40 dollars me and my wife.its her favorite chinnese food since we were boyfriend and girlfried 11 years since.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants ever. The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. They have recently remodeled and it looks really good. My family and I go there often. One of my favorites is their pot-stickers they are the best. Also, you must have a Mai Tai they are also very delicious. It is a place that you can feel very at home.

After reading reviews I decided to try Great Castle. Didnt care for the dirty dark atmosphere and rude but quick service. Entrees were fair at best, appetizers were horrible and the soup tasted and looked like kitchen leftovers in dirty water. I personaly would not return or recommend it.

I have been coming to the Great Castle for awhile, they are very friendly and make yu feel like you are part of thier family. I enjoy the War Wonton soup, and my wife and daughter LOVE the Pork chop suey over house special chow mein.

The Great Castle has always been the best Chinese food in Bakersfield and it still is! We have eaten here over 20 years and they never disappoint.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Bakersfield hands down. Everytime you visit even if it has been months they still know what you had last time. The walnut shrimp is the best and dont forget to order sizzling soup. I have never had anything here I did like. Mix it up and share family style, its great.
