We will be moving to Porterville soon, and wanted to try a restaurant there for dinner tonight. The service was good and very fast, but the food was bad. We ordered the chile rellano & enchilada. The enchilada sauce was more like a tomato & beef gravy, didn't taste anything like any mexican food I've ever seen. The beans were very watery and runny and the rice was very greasy and flavorless. They did not offer refills on our drinks, and gave us a very small basket of chips (for 4 people), and charge for additional chips. The salsa was lightly spiced tomato sauce with some cilantro in it....not at all a salsa. Overall a VERY disappointing meal, and we will never go back. I can not recommend this restaurant at all. Hoping to be able to find a good mexican restaurant in Porterville!
this place is disgusting! i ordered a torta and it looked like sumthing that came out of the trash. the food was awful, the atmosphere sucked and the workers looked like a bunch of chickens running around with there heads cut off F##k this place!
Good American favorites, caters to California style patrons. This type menu has become popular with Americans, but is limited to dishes that Americans can recognize, specialy that creation called a tostada bowl filled with tons of lettuce and very little of anything else. I eat there when i'm with a group and the majority want to go there, but I never order from the menu, the service is good, so I speak to them in Spanish and create my own dish,so I don't have to waste it or worse yet ask for a doggie bag which is a shameless insulting American practice.
