My hubby and I had breakfast here on one of the morning we were visiting SB. Basically you look at their menu listed on a stand, and you order and pay for your food at the register, and some time later they bring out your plates to your table. Pretty straightforward. We had the basic eggs/pancake/ham type of breakfast with OJ. The food was average. It was nice to eat outdoors and people-watch on State St. The food is kind of pricey for the type of food/service you get (you could get more food and more variety at IHOP, for example), but you don't have much choice for breakfast joints on State St. We picked the first one we saw that served breakfast and it was Pierre Lafond. Average food at an average place.
