Pascucci is my absolute favortie SB restaurant! Every time I have dined there, the food is fantastic, the service is good to great and the atmosphere is cute, chic & quaint without being pretentious. Everything I have ever eaten is delicious! They have the best restaurant lasagna & garlic bread I have ever had! Drinks are good, but even if you don't drink, the mango iced tea and the coffee are very good (and what I typically get) and the tiramisu is the best I have ever had (and I LOVE tiramisu - have had it many, many places.) Everytime I have friends or family come to town to visit me, I take them to Pascucci. It is a great representation of a local SB restaurant - and it is extremely affordable! The location is great, centrally located in the heart of downtown, on State Street. It is a great place to go when having a night out and you want to go catch a movie afterwards - right by Paseo Nuevo theater & very close to both of the other downtown theaters. This place is pretty much always busy, but if you aren't one for crowds, then go during the mid afternoon and catch the lunch special lasagna, salad and beverage for under $10 - perfect size and perfect price! Absolutely love this place!
BAD BAD MANNERS... but great food.
My son and his girlfriend ate on Sat June 26 2010.evening in the back of rest. and were told a few minutes after finishing their dinner, if they could leave , as they needed the table. So much for a romantic dinner.!!!!
My son who is 34 and not one to lounge much thought this was not appropriate. Since I was the one who referred him, I am disappointed with Pascuccis , and I have been a patron since they have opened.
Pascucci was wonderful, the food was good the service was prompt and the bill was small. This place was near perfect, if it wasn't for my wife and I having to sit outside (she was cold) she would of loved it even more.
Food is consistently good! Will continue to go frequently as long as it continues to be good. So many restaurants fail in SB, because the quality of the food goes down hill. The restaurant is quaint, cozy, but a little noisey. Keep up the great work, you'll have continued success!
Everything tastes like it was just thrown together without care, patience, or regard to how it would taste. Salads are overdressed, bread is too garlicy, and service is slow. A bad immitation of authentic Italian food in a pretty place. Not worth it.
my old roommate worked at pascucci, so my friends and i were always popping by for a quick dinner at the bar or a glass of wine. it's always bustling and crowded here, but i think people come more for the scene than the food, which is just so-so. i thought everything was a bit heavy on the garlic here (and i'm generally a fan of garlic).
