El Portal's Mexican Restaurant, Oxnard

I only go there for the menudo, other than that i have not experianced any rude service

This is one of my favorite Mexican food restaurants in Oxnard. I have always been greeted warmly when I order my food and it doesn't take a long time to get it. If you want an authentic gordita, try the one with chicharon! It's spicy, yet delicious. For the price, you get a generous portion that will definitely satisfy a hungry appetite. The place has nice decor and is always clean. As a 1st generation Mexican-American, I'm happy to recommend El Portal.

The lady behind the Counter is SO RUDE! I will never go back!

Food is okay, not the greatest..... Pastor has a funny after taste..... But I agree with the other comment posted, the cashier has a bad attitude.... Never smiles or greets you....

i try to order my food the way i want to eat it everytime i order something the cashier make a face and let me know a extra cost,or said it wasen't sure if the cook do it,i dont like the attitud if im willing to pay they should make my order as i wanted,high prices,not the greatest food, customer service is horrible, owner is always grumpy, never eat there again
