We have dined here many times and it never disappoints. The service is professional and friendly. The food is divine. The portions are sized perfectly, the flavors wonderful and the wine list is excellent.
The servers are very helpful - quite knowledgeable on the food and the wine list.
We love this romantic environment - it is our favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara.
My hubby and I just came back from a beautiful stay in Santa Barbara, we walked into Bouchon at around 8:00 on a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was about 50% full, the ambiance very romantic; we requested the 03 Tantara Pinot, then sampled the foie gras, roasted tri-color salad, followed by the snapper and venison, the Tantara was big and fruit-forward as expected, the foie gras was seared medium, but the main courses were extremely salty. Living in the culinary capital of San Francisco bay area, we have high standards when it comes to fine dining, while service and ambiance were excellent at Bouchon, the cuisine leave ample room for improvement.
