We have been going to Supatra for years. The food is always of great quality, along with it's nice ambiance. The staff is mostly pleasant. All the dishes are excellent! From the perennial favorites i.e Pad Thai, Tom Yum Gai soup, to the more eclectic dishes i.e. Spicy Seafood platter, Spicy Thai Basil Tofu or Chicken among others, Supatra's taste never disappoints. The dishes can be personalized to one's palate. I have taken quite a few guests to Supatra. They all liked the food. Whether you want to celebrate or feel like a celebrity, Supatra is the place to go!
They have a great modern Thai menu that has a wide variety. I usually don't care for food from southeast Asia, but they have a great menu that has authentic food for every level. The atmosphere is very nice and they often have live entertainment on the weekends. It is reasonbly priced for the quality of food and the atmosphere.
They have a good wine selection and an excellent choice of American and Thai desserts. I would definetely recommend Supatra to anyone who has never tried Thai food or wants a Thai restaurant with a wide choice of selections.
Good, but not great Thai food. The place is always empty, maybe because they don't have some typical Thai dishes (i.e., green papaya salad or sticky rice) or maybe it is the poor service. (Once I arrived one half hour before closing. The staff rushed us so that they could leave by the closing.)
This place is my favorite Thai restaurant in Orange County. Luckily, I only live a short distance and experience the food and nice amibiance at least once a week. My barometer at any Thai restaurant is the Cashew Chicken with medium spice and it is very good here. I have tried many of their dishes and like them all. I think the side salad that comes with lunch (soup or salad) could be much better, but other than that, it is a treat to go there. My entire family loves it. (My favorite Los Angeles Thai place is the King and I Siamese Cafe on La Cienega in Beverly Hills ..try the House Salad there as a main course....salad dressing is amazing)
Supatra's Thai has the best spicy fried rice in Southern California. The food is always fresh, and the service is very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant allows the customers to enjoy a delicious meal. Supatra's Thai Bistro gets two thumbs up!!!!!
