I've been here twice now and have yet to be disappointed. On my first visit I had a chicken Enchilada. It was one of the best Mexican restaurant dishes I have ever had. While waiting for my entre, I was given a dish of fresh chips and a small empty bowl which I was told I could fill with my choice of salsa from a fresh salsa bar. I chose a mix of a mild chunky salsa and a spicier red salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa fresher. When my meal was served, it was a real platter, not plastic. The chicken enchilada was delicioso! I wasn't able to finish the entire platter so I asked for a to go box and my husband enjoyed my leftovers for a late dinner. On my second visit, I opted for the Fiesta Salad, one of the daily specials at only $7.00. The salad was beautifully presented, with mixed greens, roasted corn, roasted peppers, red currants, red onions, mandarin orange slices; just about every color was presented, and of course, a generous portion of chicken on top. I opted for the cilantro dressing, which was light and very tasty. Again, I ended up with a take home box which my husband enjoyed as his dinner that night. Next time I go to Pepito's, I'm planning on taking him with me. They aren't as close to our home in Cypress but I'm glad I work in Orange.
