Hmm - we love that it is close to home and the view is spectacular. But the food is way way way overpriced. Jesus was great - very attentive and friendly. It was extremely busy for Thanksgiving. The buffet was $45 or more per person, not the $35 listed on the internet, likely due to it being a holiday. Despite reservations we waited 30 minutes.
It seems the overall hangup was the bottle neck at the carving station. Very poor planning. A second carving station would have kept the lines moving for the buffet and the day would likely have stayed on track.
Overall the food was average. Not worth the money. Mining Company down the road is less expensive and even the salad bar is better. Waiting in line for the carved meat meant the rest of your plate was cold by the time you reached the table. Some of the dishes like the chicken breast were dry and cold. Ravioli and desert were fine. Will we go again on a holiday. The place was so busy, we will not be missed, unless more parties felt the same.
I wanted to take my Girlfriend to a very romantic dinner, She has been working 50 hour weeks and just needed a nice fine dinning dinner. Where do i start....The service was so bad it took are server almost 10 min. to great us, he did not ever offer us drinks or apps, finally we got our drinks and apps. after about 15-20 min. The food was horrendous, it was cold and took at least 45 min. I would never recommend anyone to go and spend there time or money to eat there, And the management was so unprofessional, I think his name was Iashboch, don't know the exact spelling. So i will make sure to tell friends, family and co-workers never to eat at ORANGE HILL.
This restaurant is all location. The food was mediocre. The food options were next to nil. Steak, or steak, or steak, or fish. It was also extremely overpriced. The view is gorgeous, and it the only reason people venture into this place.
I would recommend it to a guy trying to impress as girl who loves meat and an atmosphere.
We planned to have a happy birthday night at Orange Hill Restaurant but it becomes to a nightmare when we sat for 15 minutes and the waiter never took our order. He attended all table around us but never stop in our. We had to stand up and go to another restaurant. This restaurant is not as good as it seem. I really don't recommend it.
