This is a great place to eat. It is the best Chili Verde I ever had and at a really low price. They make their own guacamole, chips and salsa and the best is their pickled carrots, onion and jalapenos. The atmosphere feels right out of the 60s with old booths and chairs but very comfortable. For great Mexican food and for a very good price.

I went there this week.just as I remmber it as a kid, it has not changed in 30 years..my father use to take us when I was a child. the food was good and the salas was great...the out side is scary .

best mexican food ever! I have been going there since I was a little girl. Elva and her 1st husband used to own it. He left off to Mexico after buying a truck from my Dad. He never came back. But she has been running the place ever since with a smile. My husband was hesistant the first time I took him there. The outside is a little scary. But now he is addicted. We go once a week. Try the Ruben Burrito with shredded beef. It is outstanding. I have been getting the same thing everytime since I was little. By the way Elva, when are you going to give me your carrot recipe?

Great food, awsome salsa, and avacado dip. Best Cheese Enchilada I have ever had. Elva, is great.
