Papa Hassan's Cafe, Orange

My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant 5 times since finding out about this place in the late summer of '09. The food is very much to our liking, and we hope to visit more often when in the area and have that craving. Our recent vivsit was on 5-15-10, and we ate in the back patio. Our meals and side dishes were as consistently good as the previous visits. I recommend asking for their house made hot sauce for those that can handle, and like the hot stuff with their meals. My wife would suffer big time if she tried this sauce. I'm looking forward to our next meal at this comfortable and casual place.

I've been going to papa hassan's since I was a little girl for their delicious dessert. If you have not tried their Heaven you are missing out!

I love Papa Hassan's. There food is so delicious especially the lamb. Don't worry though, if you don't like lamb they have a really tasty garlic chicken. MMmmm I'm going to go eat there today with my hubby. Service is great as well.

Very popular with Chapman Students. Decently priced, great lamb and lentil soup. You must try the lemonade (fresh!) and the dessert called Heaven.

First of all, It was hard to find the place, secondly, it was CLOSED! We got there well with their operating hour (Sunday 6:00pm) and there was no light on, nor anybody around it. From the outside view, it looks like small street hamburger joint and does not resemble any images of Lebanese restaurant (I don't know if they should, but it looked more like a burger joint). I wouldn't recommend this place, if you want to take your date out. MAKE SURE TO CALL THE PLACE TO CHECK IF IT IS OPEN in the case you decide to go. I had to give average rating for overal experience (as it was required to write this review) since I never had the food or service.
