Hush Restaurant & Lounge, Ventura

I celebrated my husband’s Birthday at HUSH, I arraigned to have one of the two areas out on the patio (2 bottle Minimum for VIP area) we got there early (9:30) so we could be there before any of our guest, as soon as we came in we were greeted by Jared one of the owners he showed us to our area and introduced us to our waitress really nice and most important knew what she was doing (sorry didn’t get her name) she brought us our bottle of Patron Silver ($225). As we waited for guest to arrive we were told that Daisy from VH1 Rock of Love was going to be in the VIP area next to us and Candy Man (oh boy I love you so…Yes that one) would be inside. As we were waiting a couple sat in the area next to us they were both REALLY drunk and were cussing and shoving each other… we thought this is not going to end well, our waitress went and got security and thank god the were removed immediately, as soon as they were removed our guest started to show up, I had arranged that no one in my party pay a cover charge the girl at the door did a good job at making sure that happened. Since all of guests were there at about 10ish I asked for my second bottle be brought out (Malibu $175) and 3 chasers, I also brought 2 Bottles of Dom Perignon champagne, the corkage fee of $75 dollars per bottle was waived (Thanks Jared). The DJ started to at about 10 and he did a good job played a verity of music and the sound was perfect loud enough to dance but not too loud were you can’t carry on a conversation. All in all I think they are doing a great job at Hush.
