Shiki Japanese Restaurant, Orange

OMG... how can this restaurant be existence? i don't know wat was worst, restaurant with moldy smell, flea, tick, OR the god awful food. we should have trusted our first instinct..... RUN!!!

i was not impressed. it wasn't that great and i don't think i would recommend it. the fish was frozen and not fresh and there was no one in the restaurant and the staff kind of ignored us.

Best sushi in Orange County. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, awesome hospitality, superb chefs, and great service. A very enjoyable place to go with friends, family, or loved ones to celebrate any event or just to have a casual dinner. Always satisfied in every aspect, will continue going there as long as they are open!

I loved shiki the service is amazing everyone should go there it's better than habatchi

This restaurant is absolutely AMAZING!! The service is outstanding and always catering to your needs. The food preparation is quick and great. The presentation is beautiful as well. The owner is a very nice man who gets to know his customers. Hospitality is very warming and its a nice and relaxing atmosphere to be in. Definitely recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers!

Shiki has been around since even before I was a little girl and I am 32 now. I remember going there with my grandmother Yoko and she was best friends with the owners. Not only does Shiki have amazing food, but they are completely authentic! I can say that because I grew up on Japanese food! Besides, it is the only place that will make me Salmon Onigiri, which is cooked salmon inside of a rice ball, with seaweed wrapped around it. My favorite!~ Plus, their sushi is banging and their service is even better! I feel very welcome every time I go there and it makes me feel like a piece of my grandma is still there, even though she passed away when I was 8. God bless Shiki! Salena

Absolutely, positively... without any doubt: a great tasting moment! our first visit made us try the Ibachi. The chief was an artist. Food became colorful! Then we tried the Sushi Bar. One word: delicious!

My family and I started going to Shiki about 3 years ago, just after our first child was born. In my opinion this place serves up some of the best casual Japanese dining in all of Orange County. Our last visit was a week ago when my wife and two children sat at one of their teppanyaki grills. Their regular chef, Richard, really puts on a show. His preparation of our meal rivaled the best of anything that Benihana has to offer. Richard frequently interacted with our children and remembered the preferred temperature of our steaks (without hesitation, when we made our first return visit). Their cuts of meat are always generous, and the fish is consistently fresh. Supporting Richard are several of the nicest and responsive servers around. What especially impressed us was how they extend that hospitality to both regular diners like ourselves and newcomers alike. These servers also provide the remarkable table service in the dining room. Shiki is one of those few places that consistently meets my high expectations.

Shiki is amazing, the sushi is to die for. You need to go check it out, you will be hooked on their food. We go atleast once a week!!!!

I have eaten here a bunch of times now with friends and for dates. Prices are accurate and food is delicious. It's always full of customers everytime I go in but I still get quick service everytime. I recommend the tempura California roll.
