We visited this Joe's last weekend. From the moment we walked in the door, until the moment we left, we were absolutely delighted with the service. The hostess, Emerald, met us at the door, welcomed us and engaged us in conversation. She wasn't just going through the motions of being the hostess, she genuinely enjoyed her job and shared her good mood with customers. We were seated and greeted immediately by an equally enthusiastic server, Austin. He timed our appetizer and entree perfectly, made sure our glasses were never empty and achieved attentiveness without being intrusive throughout the meal. The manager, Antonio even made rounds throughout lunch, stopping at the tables and checking on guests. I mentioned a coupon that I had in the email on my phone, but that I hadn't been able to print it out prior to our meal. He happily gave the discount after seeing the coupon and asked if there was anything else he could do for us.
The food was excellent. We ended up only ordering one entree between the two of us because that with the appetizer was MORE than enough food. We ended up not even finishing everything on the plate.
Our morning had started off on the wrong foot and we were beginning to think it wasn't going to be a very good day. But the friendliness and extra lengths toward customer service that these three employees went to, turned it around.
We highly recommend this location for the food AND the service.
I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. Besides the food being horrible and way overpriced, the service is extremely slow and unprofessional. To boot, the waiter spilled a glass of wine on my wife, did not apologize and when he asked if she would like another glass of wine which he brought about 20 minutes later after my meal was half over. When I got the bill I was only horrified that they charged for both glasses of wine. The restaurant didn't even offer to compensate us for cleaning my wife's pants and I have got no satisfaction by emailing and calling joe's crab shack corporate offices. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this horrible excuse for a restaurant
My husband surprised me for my birthday and invited all of my friends and family to Joe's for dinner. He called ahead to let them know we had a big party arriving and when we got there everything was set up and waiting for us. The food was great and there was something for everyone. Even our guests that don't like seafood. Our server never let our drinks get empty and was always stopping by to see if we needed anything else. My birthday was on a friday night and the place was packed but that didn't stop anyone from giving us outstanding service. I would recommend Joe's to anyone. It was the best birthday I have ever had!
The Food is always good, But the service is always bad. They spend too much time training their wait staff stupid dances then how to service their customers attentively. My best friend and I have gone a few times and expected that we will have to search high and yonder for our server for refills on our drinks/condiments/napkins. There is an Outback restaurant right next to this restaurant, if you care more about getting good service along with good food I suggest you go there instead. Their service staff could teach these moronic kids a lesson.
Long wait for the food to come out. Over 30 minutes! One refill on my drink.
Food was a good value. Between getting there and seated and leaving I was there for an hour and half. Way too long.
4 Stars for the food, 2 stars for the wait. Overall 3 stars.
Well where do I start, lets see me and a lady friend ordered crab legs. Well the Crab was on a diet there was no meat.
Second vist ordered a crab salad, not too bad but the table next to us ordered the crab legs. They got the manager and complained no crab meat. They were upset. I understand when crab is kept in captivity live they sometimes are not fed anything. Well same as when humans do not eat they lose weight.
