Mexi-Casa Mexican Food
There is plenty of atmosphere here since the waiters and waitresses take great pride in wearing the type of colorful outfits one might normally only see in a quaint town square down in Mexico. The colors are truly joyful much like the music playing in the background. This place is so popular that you will want to be sure to make a reservation since the failure to do so will usually guarantee a fairly long wait for a table. Every kind of taco you can think of is served here, including chicken, ground beef, cheese and fish. The enchilada platters are favorites, as are the inexpensive Margaritas and beers. Like all good Mexican restaurants, this place keeps your table's basket overflowing with hot chips and salsa. The most intimate seating is found in the booths located away from the main entrance. A few house wines are available, and bring cash since this place does not except any credit cards.
Great food and terrific prices. Bummer they only take cash. Wish the place had some background music, other than that it is great.
Love when they have the Andes Mints, wish they would have them in stock more often.
They don't give refills on the sodas and sometimes lack on the water service, depending on which busser you get.
Otherwise, great place.
I remember as a little boy going there back in the early 80's, was raised going there and till this day its a trip to see the same buss boy who brings out the chips, and the same waitress. The prices are unreal, yet the food still real good, along with the service, now im old enough to drink, 2.00 dollar beers look out!
I've been going to mexicasa forever! its soooo good. and soooo cheap...you can get a whole meal for under 5 bucks! and the food is actually good, not crappy and expensive! the only thing that kinda sucks is that the sodas are like 70 cents and you do not get refills...and the cups are not really big..also..they only take cash. but its a mexican food place..all mexican food places only take cash...i dont know why. but they just do. but anyway.....mexicasa is great and yummy! in fact I'm going to go there right now for lunch!
I have been enjoying Mexi Casa since I was in my teens. I remember the original owners and their children have kept the great food and service going. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good mexican food at great prices. Although I now live out of the area, my family nad I go back whenever we can. In fact, tomorrow it's Angels vs. Yankees and MEXI CASA!!!! Try the enchiladas rancheros with a shredded beef taco on the side and wine margaritas.
Mexi-Casa Mexican Restuarant is a place where you fill up on tacos and burritos and not bust your bank account, Only $3.40 maybe a bit higher now for a shredded beef taco, cheese enchilada and rice and beans. At all other places expect to pay $6-8-9 maybe more for the same order. If the place looks old, it is it opened in 1956 under the name The Kettle but the decor is not as important as the food and prices and Mexi-Casa wouldnt have been in business over 30 years in the same spot if their food wasnt good
