Sonic Drive in, Anaheim

The food was super fast and super hot... I got the super sonic california cheeseburger onion rings and a route 44 Dr Pepper.... So good!

This place is AMAZING! I loved their tasty burgers! Their fries were perfect too. Not soggy or over cooked. I loved it. Thanx

I was kind of disappointed. I have heard so much about this place so I had to try it out. I have found that the burger is very average considering there are a lot of burger joints in California. IMO In n Out is way better.

For California this is a bit different. The onion rings taste like something that belongs on a breakfast menu... not good. The burgers get the job done.

We like this place too, specially with 2 kids and a dog, we just go in the morning and enjoy the food in the cars, so we don't have to worry about the kids running around in the resto. Fun place to go since a real drive in is getting lesser and lesser.

Sonic is a refreshing change to an abyss of drive-thru chains. Yes, we did experience a wait but this isn't McDonald's. The Hamburger Toaster we ordered was bursting with flavor! The french fries were tasty and the coke was dialed in to perfection. The Coneys were nothing to write home about. The experience was definitely worth the 15 minute drive. Don't go if you are expecting the 3 minute McDonalds drive thru experience. If you are willing to go and enjoy the time with the person you are with and have a tad of patience while they are preparing one of the tastiest treats, I would highly recommend.

This was new to me so I thought I try it out. The drive in was full not surprising it was 10pm on a Sunday. I parked and went up to a stand to order. Pushed the button a few times to get a response. When I finally got through I only got half of my order in and the speakers were hard to hear. So I wait at the stand for 15 min thinking maybe a technical problem. Nothing. So I saw some people getting their orders taken. So I sat down and wait another 15 mins. Everyone got their orders. So I left and when to Jack in the Box and got my snacks in half the time. For a drive in experience, I would go to In-N-Out.

I drove about 20 minutes to try Sonics on Lemon. Miss eating taters and this is a good place to get them from. The coney dog was okay, kinda on the salty side, the cherry-limeade mostly tasted carbonated, the cherry slush was prettty good. Service was a bit slow but I would come back there again. good experience.
