Mimi's Cafe, Anaheim

My family and I just have our lunch there and I'm telling you it was a terrible experienced. Number 1 - they don't serve their advertisement for lunch special $9.99 and thats really bad, you just don't advertise you have to implement it. Number 2 we have our order that just enough lunch, our server never gave us soup or salad that was supposed to be included in our order already, it's supposed to be given, and never offerred or served at all. Number 3 on our child menu, one of our child menu there's order missing, we have to asked for the chips which also included and Number 4 one of our kid have this free child certificate from school, one of the reason we ate there today because he was so proud of it, we gave it to our server before we ordered and it was not show on our bill, and again we have to asked for it again, what a terrible and horrible experienced we have there today.

My family & I went to Disny the 15-17th. We stopped in for breakfast tues. morning. The service was terrible! The server wouldn't let my husband sub a coffee for OJ that was included in the meal. The OJ was bad by the way. My country fried steak was all fat & grissle. I couldn't even eat it. My husband asked for a side of sauce & it was never brought so his food was wasted. The fruit was not ripe on the kids plates & our server never even checked on us once, she just dropped a bill & walked off. It was the worst dining experience we have ever had.

The restaurant is located walking distance to Disneyland, so as other posted, it can get crowded. However, unlike other restaurants that charge more for a resort location, Mimi's menu is the same as all their restaurants. Be aware that since there are a lot of tourist, you'll get a lot of kids. You also can't be in a hurry. Service can be a bit slow, and you're wondering if the chef is out back catching your food instead of cooking it. Take advantage of their special menu. Its fresh and delicious!

parking at this place is a night mare. be careful how much you consume on those muffins. it has alot of fat in it. this place attract alot of ben gay smell customers. if you ever goes to a hospital and you remember that awful smell in the hallway. it is the same as this place.

Pros: We came in with a large party for breakfast and the server was on top of everything. Even though there were many of us she kept our beverages all full, and we did not have to ask for anything. She was also entertaining with our kids. Everybody left happy and full. Our relatives all want to go back again for our next family gathering. For a place that stays as busy as they are, he service was amazing and the food equally tasty. When are the pumpkin muffins coming back??

We had a group of about 14 and when we came we were seated resonably quickly for such a large group but it took around thirty minutes for us to get our drinks and we were at the resteraunt for almost 3 hours total because of the wait it took for every thing we asked for. The food was also not cooked correctly and they only checked on us a couple of times the entire time we were there... overall i will make it a point not to go there again and to advise others not to as well.

I love loved the food, and thought they treated us very nicely and is a great place for kids, anda good place to save money!

We were haveing a Birthday celebration with some of my co-workers, I had called 3 weeks in advanced to make a reservation to tell them there were going to be 25 all together. When we came at 6:30 to set up the table and bring the cake in,only one table had been set up, and people were sitting at the other still eating as my party started to roll in. They had promised us another table very close to the one we were eating at, and then suddenly gave it to some otheer guests, so we all had to sqeeze in on one table. I was not HAPPY AT ALL. I am not usually hard to pleas..... But I do atleast request the resteraunt to be much more on top of things than they were. I didnt let it dampen our good time, but I can tell you I wont be going back to that Mimis, I will choose another even if it is out of my way!

it's a very friendly place and the food is great for a very inexpensive price. although they have a great kids menu, it is a very calm place so any little kid's scream is heard throughout the restaurant. later at night it's nice for a drink from the espresso bar and a dessert. Breakfast is great, and their seasonal banana-chocolate chip muffins are to die for.
