MMMMmmmm. Yum. I went here all of the time in high school and I go everytime I am back visiting my parents. But now I take my willing husband with me- he loves this place too! My favorite meal to order is the cheeseburger with fried zucchini. The zucchini is to die for- it is cut in long strips, fried and searved with ranch. You will only find it better at a faire. They have an obscenely wide variety of foods (American, Mexican, Greek...), but it is all delicious! Give it a try- you will be happy you did.
I agree with the other reviewer about Knowlwoods- it used to be amazing (and it used to have great fried zucchini), but it sucks now. Also, there are no more giant cakes- what gives? Also, In-n-out, while lovely, pales in conparison to Esperanza Burger.
When you crave a real charbroiled burger with the shreded lettuce, tomato and onion smothered in 1000 Island Dressing, this is your first stop. The fries are thick, fresh and crisp... This is burger bliss. Avoid Knowlwoods, it ain't what you remember... Filthy, poor condition and a staff that barely comprehends. The owners at Esperanza Burger are nice and really care about your satisfaction. If you like trains that's a plus because you'll have a front seat to the action every 10 minutes or so.
