Okay I went here for lunch 3 times and liked the food. Then i decided to take my girlfriend there in the evening and have a dinner. The food was not as good for some reason and I had the same thing. The girlfriend got boiled chicken with her dish and it was tough. The main thing that got to us was they decided to clean some sink in the back with BLEACH and the smell was coming out to where people were eating. I told them and they did manage to get a door opened and air it out. But that pretty much killed the meal. Also it was noisy there is almost no barrier between the kitchen and people eating so you hear all the banging and noise. The lights were all on just like lunch time. I think these guys need to make it a little more romantic in the evening and not have a lunch dinner for evenings. I was very disappointed and the girlfriend did not like it either. I don't think I will go back for lunch either now after that. Go to the Olive garden if you want good food, not here. Might be ok for a lunch though

As a returning customer, what happened to the portions ..... Really, Calamari serving shrunk to 1/4 the size Caprese - where's the "mozzarella", size less than a"quarter", basil- tiny bits of leaves - & they call that a Caprese - you have to be kidding me Salty Penne alla Vodka and the size of the shrimp shrunk too - not worth the extra $3 - where's the qualitiy. Do not recommend & Will not be returning

Wow. You MUST visit this restaurant. Gordon Ramsey Just visited here Aug 1 for an upcoming episode of Kitchen Nightmares. You get Ramsey food at Anaheim prices. He made over the menu, the decor (he tried his best) and the food. The food surpasses anything I've ever had. I've been to Spago, Rex II formerly downtown LA, The White House, even Gordon Ramsey at the London, this is by far the best. We had carpaccio with fresh arugula, a New York style Pizza, a bread salad, the pan fried veal, 1/2 roasted chicken, short ribs, and chicken parmisean. All were sublime and all relatively inexpensive and served in moderate portions.. Before the food at this mom and pop Italian place was nondescript and somewhat greasy. Now it is more like a trendy restaurant in West Hollywood with an open kitchen and excellent service. I don't know how long it will last though. Hopefully, the chef/owner Luigi will find neighborhood clientele that appreciates sublime food. It is a very casual place, and wine is just $5.45 a glass. Also, great Tiramisu and cannoli -- the first time I ever liked cannolis.

Jan 13th, 2011: My first time at Luigi's was great. I recommend the delicious Eggplant Sorrento. Bring a hearty appetite.

I have been going to Luigis D'Italia since last year. The food there is delicious and their bread and salad are the best. Olive Garden don't have anything on Luigis. I love it. I am actually going to go later on for my b-day. Yum I recommend it. *****

Had takeout, the food was decent but the young blonde in front forgot all the condiments. The bag was torn and spilled w/ sauce b/c of poor packaging. It couldve been better since hardly any customers. Usually better service when wife works in the front.

Awesome food. Awesome atmosphere. i recommend this place. It's really genuine. I go once a month and never cease to lose interest. If Kobe Bryant finds goes there, it must be pretty legit.

The food was horrible...had no flavor what so ever. I would have had a better experience going to Olive Garden.
