We love Mexican food. We live at Anaheim and drive by this restaurant all the time but never thought of giving it a try until we read the good reviews, the food is just like you can get from most Mexican restaurants, nothing special, the price is on the high side for certain dishes. We are not impressed and think it is over-rated. I ordered a breakfast dish that should come with tortilla, but we never saw it, I brough it up to the waitress, she said she asked me if I wanted it and I said no, my husband and I both were sure she never asked us about it. This is the first as well as the last for us to eat there.
I was on a business trip, staying at the nearby Hilton, next to Disneyland and was looking for a good mexican restuarant. I was walking and saw La Casa Garcia from the corner of my eye and decided to go in and check it out. It was friday evening and they had a Mariachi band playing. I ordered the Chile Colorado and tried their fresh fruit drinks (mango). Let me tell you, they had some of the best mexican food and fruit drinks I've ever enjoyed it my life! So good, I went there 2 more times.
