I just came across this site. My father is from Bolivia and mother from Cuba. I've been to Bolivia three times growing up. My mother is an extremely good cook. I've learned how to cook many Bolivian dishes from her. I miss her meals. The one I cannot master are the saltenas. Youtube has a clip on a guy making them and folding that top seal. All I have ever had from Beba's are the saltenas; which, coming from experience, are top rate. 5 stars. Today, I am going to Beba's for a real lunch and try something different. Perhaps Fricase, or lengua, or one of my favorites as a kid, Sajta de Pollo. My mouth is salivating with anticipation and my stomach is grumbling. Can't wait. Chao Chao
