Awful service, there were not enough servers, so many avilable tables, and no one clean them, we wait for thirty minutes, and the soy ben is cold and old;combination dinner no rice no soup, the server said he forgot it, I order hand roll, he gave me cut roll,the sever argue that I only told him a roll. after 40 minutes, i had a diarrhoea. 28 dollars can have a good food in the other sushi restaurant and be more happy. what a mass in this one, I won't go there any more.

Great Japanese food. This is few Japanese restaurant in California that I never ever disappointed. Great chef & staff, great food, and reasonable price. I am very pleased to have a restaurant like Shimura.

I've been going to Shimura's for over five years and each time I try somewhere else, I am disappointed. Authentic food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere, wonderful patrons, fantastic chef and wait staff.
