Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar
Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar alone makes a visit to San Clemente worthwhile. The restaurant has two sections that sandwich the entrance of San Clemente Pier. One section is more formal than the other, but how much will this glorious view cost you? As low as USD3 for a happy hour meal - no catch whatsoever! Of course, the seafood is a must-try and the oyster bar is awesome (as well as the regular bar). A sourdough bowl of clam chowder is not to be missed. Here, what you also get is a taste of San Clemente culture, probably the most laid back in Orange County. - Hoiyin Ip
poor service, arrogant staff, long waits (more than an hour when told 30 minutes). I think this restaurant has become too succesful and has enough patrons without needing to worry about new customers. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere
We love it here, we eat here almost every evening when we visit San Clemente twice yearly! Clam chowder is creamy, portions are filling, service is good ...chiopino is deelish, oysters fresh, seared tuna-deelish, salmon n chips great portion! The view is worth it all, right on the pier!
Not so great. Drinks took 20 minutes and meals took an hour. They weren't even that busy. We went on a Sat. around 2pm and we didn't eat until 3:15. Food was not worth the wait. Bartender was bad, could not get midori sour right.Find another place.
food mediocre, the service is consistently terrible, in fact we had to walk out last night because it was soooo bad, restaurant was only half full. after last night experience we will never go back and we live here!!!!
Great View, that's about it, and you'll pay for it. Menu looks good, but it's not that exciting once you taste it, only average. But like i said, its great for tourist who want to eat overlooking the ocean. Enjoy? Just go for drinks.
