Description

With a name that means "the swallows," this romantic restaurant serves the finest of French and Belgian cuisine. Diners eat inside and enjoy the French countryside decor, or take in the fresh air on the patio. The house specialty is Poulet Marie Antoinette, a chicken breast with French cream sauce. Other delicious dishes include herb chicken, half roast duckling, veal medallions or peppercorn duck. One of the fine Belgian wines will complement your meal.

Marvelous food, nice wine list, excellent service, and the epitome of California settings. The patio is surrounded by a low adobe wall covered in bouganvillea of every color. With the old mission right across the street, and the noon bells ringing in the basilica, I felt like I was back in the California I remember from my childhood. I chose the restaurant on a whim to celebrate a milestone birthday. I couldn t be happier with the choice.

A most charming Belgian-French restaurant in the heart of San Juan Capistrano. We highly recommend this place...great menue and wine list...impeccable service and personal attention by the owner. A true five star.

The traffic was horrible, so we pulled off the freeway and stumbled to this jewel of a restaurant. We dined on the patio and were treated like gold. The lunch was the best I had this year. Duck salad with berries and a raspberry sauce, my wife had the escargots and a special ahi burger. The next time in Capistrano I will return .

The atmosphere that Ali and Lisa have created is the most amazing thing that i have ever witnessed the was that Ali comes and works side by side with all of his servers and chefs is quite spectacular he is the kindest most caring person i have ever met
