Tucked off to the side of PCH in Newport Beach is 930 Sushi (aptly named for it's address). Although the accommodations are tight (only about 7 tables inside and sushi bar that holds about 15), this is still the place to go. Go early (before 6:00) and you are sure to find a seat.
The fish is always fresh and the sushi chefs are skilled at giving you only the very best cuts. I'd recommend thier seared tuna and albacore sushi - as items to never miss.
If you like the more complex items - then give the MD Roll a try - it is both creamy and slightly spicy (you'll drool just by looking at it).
Oh yeah - another bonus of going in early is the early bird specials. Order everything before 6:00 p.m. and you'll get a whopping 20% off - SUCH A DEAL!
