Bluewater Grill, Newport Beach

I have been driving from N. Hollywood to Bluewater for about ten years. This is the most relaxing, casual, restaurant in all of LA. Several years ago, I had a poor experience with the service and refused to return for a while, but the last three times I've been here, I have not been disappointed. They always have several fish selections that are SUPER FRESH! Order from the fresh selections and you will never go wrong. In season, the swordfish is by far the best I have ever had anywhere. I don't normally gush about any meal (I figure there is always room for improvement), but the swordfish tasted like it had just been caught that morning - and it had been! And the service has improved significantly since that one time. Just don't go to Bluewater thinking that you're fine if someone in your party doesn't like seafood. Seafood is definitely king here! Everything else... not so much. But if you want fresh fish, don't even think about going anywhere else.
