Tannins Restaurant and Wine Bar, San Juan Capistrano

I went to Tannins Lounge last night and was treated to a great new night spot. The ambiance, food, wine and martinis were exceptional (although I must admit I only had the spinach salad w/chicken --- still it was great!) The bartender (Kirsten) was friendly, helpful and extremely accomodating. And although they've only been open for 7 weeks, the secret is apparently out. The place was packed (on a Wednesday night!) with a fun crowd of ppl. In short, a great new ultra-chic lounge, minus the pretentiousness of similarly appointed establishments.
