dont get me wrong, the cheese factory itself is very good but the servers, not so good. It seems as if they weren't treating people equally. They barely come to check up on us when we needed WATER refills. So therefore, the food, delicious..outstanding.. the service. no. plus the wait... forever.
Over priced and crowded ALL the time. The food is good and huge portions - their salads and appetizer menu are particularly good. Great range of cocktails and drinks and the desserts (the cheesecake, duh!) is the best part. Pretty decent choice for dinner with a date or friends any night of the week. Not spectacular (the food is pretty generic) but for the portions you get it's worth the cash.
I recommend the avocado eggrolls and snicker's cheesecake. :)
We found this particular Cheesecake Factory a bit noisy for a Wed. night as we entered the restaurant, but our waiter Louie definitely made our night, he was absolutely fantastic, Kudos you made our evening very special! Thank you very much! I guess the bad waiters are gone now?! The food was delicious and we ended up forgetting all about the noise half way through our meal! So they serve big portions...and so you have your leftovers for lunch the next day! lol It's just really great when you get excellent service, nothing beats that!
Personally (and this is just my personal opinion) Cheesecake Factory is the most overrated restaurant out there. Everyone is always hooting and hollaring about how great this place is. I don't get it, to me it's a few notches up from Applebees with excellent dessert. I've gone a handful of times to different ones (Newport Beach, K.C., Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, the new one that opened in my home of Omaha) and I've never had an amazing experience. It takes forever to get in, then it takes a while to get your food, and then the food is average, but the portions way too enormous. The only things I liked were the dessert and the decorations. Other than that, I was less than pleased by Cheesecake Factory. When I go to a big city, I want something that speaks of the local culture, and Cheesecake Factory is another generic restaurant disguised as Upscale that is leading to the continually Wal-Martzation our society is enduring.
