Flamingo's Mexican Grill & Bar
Flamingo's is a fun, exciting bar and restaurant in Laguna Hills. It might be located in a strip mall, but this restaurant has a lot of character and ambience. You'll think you're in Mexico when you settle into your booth or table and taste the chips and salsa. The servers are friendly and the decor is stylishly authentic but not tacky. Many people come just for the bar. The food is as authentic as you're going to get this side of the border. Delicious tacos, enchiladas, tamales, burritos, and more will leave you full and content. The warm tortillas are the best and all the ingredients are fresh. There's a pretty good wine list and a huge selection of beer.
I looked all over MISSION VIEJO for this restaurant. Could it be the one I found that is located in LAGUNA HILLS????
The one on McIntyre Street in Laguna Hills was wonderful!! Food and service was great. Too bad you have it listed as Mission Viejo.
I love the mexican food served at this restaurant and the service is incredible. The problem I have is that a $42 dinner bill for 3 small girls and myself is outrageous, especially when we all ordered very modestly. I had a small combination chili rellano & enchillada and one beer. First child had 4 taquitos and lemonade, second child had quasadillas and a lemonade, and the third child chicken strips and a coke. $42 for this meal, in my opinion, was outrageous.
It has great food and quite inexpensive. The best time to go is Taco Tuesday where the restaurant is packed with Mexican food addicts. This is a friendly gathering spot where we all hang out on weekends
We've been enjoying the great food and service at this restaurant for about 5 years and everytime it is a great experience. The management is friendly and the servers are courteous and amicable. The atmopshpere has just the right amount of hispanic ambience without going overboard. The overhead music is always my favorite as they range from boleros to mariachi selections with the right amount of volume. The family and teen crowd mix is common and is what makes this place a great place to enjoy mexican food.
