Family owned and operated since 1967, the famous Huntington Beach restaurant Michele's Sugar Shack is open seven days a week from 5:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays until 8:00 p.m. and serves traditional American favorites. Breakfast menu items are served all day.

Try the breakfast burrito, Brah!

Dude! This place it killer! Like, I dig the sausage and American cheese breakfast burrito, whoa! Sit in the front, and check out the hunny's cruise the pier. Sit in the back and you get wiffs of the dumpsters back there. Bogus!

The only way to have breakfast in downtown HB

This place has excellent food and great location. Eat inside or outside front of back. If you want to people watch, pick the front, but if you don't want to deal with cars driving past, then pick the back or inside. Great food and you really get the feel of the Huntington Beach lifestyle at this place. A+

Sugar Shack is just sooo SWEET!!!

I'm from Bakersfield, CA and myself and the family just happened to ask the locals of where a good place to eat at is in the Newport area. A surfer told us you have to try Sugar Shack. We did and the dude was right!!! The place is small but the food and service was great! Its such a great place that we sometimes wake up early in the morning to get to Newport just for breakfast!! What a treat!!!
