10/7/10 WOW .. WHAT THE HECK? JUST GOT THE BEST THAI FOOD EVER IN ORANGE COUNTY. THIS IS REAL THAI FOOD THAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. YOU PAY Small buck but got big meal and on top of that you got free thai tea , ice cream, sticky rice with mango or honey drew. Sooo Good. Friendly service, excellent hospitality and family own small bussiness. A lot of parking. Be ready for A Great Thai food ever. see you there.

i went to this place with my friend for dinner. little did i know how very small this place was, the line was long, there were only like two workers. not to mention it took him forever to get out order. to make things more pleasant for us, he wouldnt even allow us to share a plate and kicked us out. i was dissapointed.

7/6/2010 Oh, My God I love this place sooooo much . This is the best Thai food ever. Original test. Lovely fresh flower and very nice people from Thiland. We try a lot of food and It was so good. I promise I will come back every day. I hope in the fruture they have a bigger place and more table for us sooner.

We go here once a month or so. This is a good place for a quick lunch break. It's pretty small and cozy inside and it might be hard to find a table on busy days. Prices are on the frugal side and the servers have always been good as far as service and courteousness every time we've been there.

Best Food Ever! my husband always told me about this place he use to go during lunch and by the time he got home he was never hungry for dinner! they give you so much good food for a very low price....and FREE dessert! I love this place!!! i have tried other ones and they all suck! once you eat here, you wont stop going!

Trust the positive reviews here. The only two negative ones must be talking about another restaurant. This is the authentic Bangkok neighborhood restaurant experience, replete with a television on the wall with Thai soap operas and newcasts. I have lived in Thailand. This is the real deal. Authentic flavors. Amazing prices. Thai home cooking. They have a LOT of regular local customers. Only Silk Thai in HB has food this good, and they are much pricier.

Well where do I even start. haha. This restaurant was recommended to me by my best friend Dan and his girlfriend Jill. I took my girlfriend here one day because she'd never eaten Thai food, and since Dan and Jill could not stop raving about how good this place was, I couldn't take her to some janky ass place like Thai Spice (ew)... I went there with some level of doubt but was COMPLETELY blown away, not only by the amazingly delicous food, but also by the outstanding service. You get a free, refillable PITCHER of thai tea or thai coffee with your meal.. how dope is that!! AAAAAND the food was amazingly delicious, hot, and fresh... *drool* We ordered the pad thai (shrimp), orange chicken (to DIEEEEE for), tom-yum soup (shrimp), and the guy gave us free fried rice. OH MANNNNN.. I generally don't like orange chicken but it was soooo gooooood--there was real meat in it, it was crispy, and most importantly, it had the right amount of orange flavor. Anyway, when our meal was finished, the guy promptly removed the dirty dishes and packed up our leftovers for us AND gave us free dessert.. it was THE DANKS!! ahhhhhhhhh it was some sort of sorbet, served in the half-shell of a real fruit!! each flavor was served in its corresponding fruit (i had pineapple ice cream in a frozen and hollowed half-pineapple shell!!). The check came out to a little more than 20 bucks and I tipped around $10 (he deserved it). My girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed and satisfied. Probably in my top two best-dining experiences. A great perk about this place is that it's a small and cozy restaurant, probably family-owned, and will always have fresh, cooked-to-order, authentic Thai cuisine. I will definitely be coming back. P.S. I don't usually write reviews for ANYTHING but I felt that it was my duty as a consumer to write this report. Thai Gulf deserves it. Five Stars all day.

Tiny little place with not much room for many people - but fabulous food - I think the best Thai food I have ever had. YUM! Very reasonably priced. A great find in the neighborhood!
