Las Barcas, Huntington Beach

I would highly recommend this restaurant. They have SPECTACULAR super nachos and the atmosphere is always warm and friendly. The prices are not drastically low, but it is a fair deal for the quality of food you're receiving.

A long time staple of downtown HB, this small family run gourmet mexican food resturant is almost always busy. They are located in a strip mall off of Beach Blvd. Its a cozy nice atmosphere to just sit with a date, family, business meeting, or just to watch the game. But of course the food is what keeps this popular hotspot busy. From great seasoned carnitas, to their huge fish tacos, you can't go wrong. Get a bucket of beer and enjoy!

I always get floutas from Las Barcas. They're too good to pass up! The restaurant is pretty cute inside but I always take it to go. Cash only... I hate that. But it's worth a trip to the ATM!

This is a small restaurant but packs a huge punch with its menu offerings and size of food portions. It's right off of Beach Blvd on the corner of the strip mall there so it's convenient and there's plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable and they also offer catering for those beach parties.

This is my favorite "not really too authentic" mexican place. There's nothing really adventurous on the menu, the place is very clean and orderly and it seems to be frequented a lot by surfer-types and high school kids. I've had the chicken enchiladas, the pork tamales, and the carnitas burrito and can recommend them all for healthy, fresh and delicious mexican food that's nice and easy on your tummy.

Been there many times, and they have great, great food. Their enchiladas & deep fried tacos are the best. Inexpensive as well.

I have eaten at Las Barcas for over 18 years and it's consistently my favorite Mexican food. Their salsa is amazing, always tastes wonderful and fresh. Their tacos rock and their family-service is outstanding. The men that own/run Las Barcas are what you definately must-see also!
