WE LOVE it... great Thai food , fast delivery. we have now been going for a month every week! soooo goood!

Just there last weekend. The Thai iced tea is too sweet and so is the Pad Thai. Even after squeezing the lime, I had to ask for chili pepper tray to make the noodles more palatable. The service is decent. There is better Thai restaurants though... Thainakorn about 10 miles north is probably more to my taste.

Truly fabulous food. My husband is India and likes his food spicy. I'm a former New Yorker and like mine mild. No matter what dish you order at Silk Thai it will be seasoned to YOUR taste on a scale of 1-10 for spices. Each dish is made fresh. We love the fresh rolls (veggies and shrimp) wrapped in a thin paper like roll...delicious. We also always order the cucumber salad. We're told the papaya salad is to die for as well. The restaurant has an intimate feel with maybe 20 tables. The service is great, fast and courteous. Do yourself a favor stop by Silk Thai...I can guarantee once you've eaten there,,,you'll be back! It's on the northeast corner of Beach Blvd and Adams Ave in Huntington Beach. It's between Mother's Market and Kinko's/Fed Ex...just a few doors to the right from Kinkos's. Enjoy! Susan and Pankaj

this is the best thai restaurant I have ever eaten at. and not just in newport or in the US, but anywhere in the world (including New York and London); granted I have not been to Thailand, but I am certain you will not be disappointed, in fact quite the opposite.

I've never actually dined in but the food is excellent and they are happy to subsitute brown rice with any dish. They have a 1 - 10 spicy scale. I love spicy food but beleive their descriptions of the different levels. A 2-3 will actually make your eyes water! So yummy!!!

Delicious Thai food!: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I have dined here many times, and I have been delighted each and every time. The food is great, with wonderful blending of flavors and presentation. You can even tell them how spicy you want your food (scale of 1 to 10). The employees couldn't be nicer, and the service is great. The Pad Thai is my favorite. Not too sweet like some places make it, just a great balance of flavors.

Silk Thai offers very good Thai food in a family-friendly atmosphere. Sue is the owner, and she will remember you and greet you in a friendly manner when you've been in a time or two. Sue will also suggest Thai entrees that she thinks you might like. Brown rice is available. The service staff is all Thai, and they do their best to meet all your needs (such as my son's bottomless glass of Pepsi). It gets a little crazy on Saturday evenings after 6 pm or so, so my children and I like to come in earlier. The curries and soups are wonderful, as well as many of the entrees.

Friendly Service, Great prices, Fresh ingredients... SOOO DELICIOUS. You should definately try this place! Plus if you dine there enough they will give you a VIP card for an additional 10% off their already resonsble prices! I also love that they will make any dish to your specifications.

The decor, the staff and the food all add up to an excellent experience. Plan to sit back and enjoy. Rich colours and a simplicity of design are the key to the decor. There is an upscale feel, yet you aren't intimidated. Dressed to the nines or casual, it doesn't make a difference. You can enjoy the food and good conversation with your dinner guest(s). When you walk in the door, the waitresses greet you warmly, making you feel immediately welcome. They seat you quickly, are happly to answer any and all questions and make suggestions. The menu is extensive, so take your time to see all that is offered in each category. Satay and a new appetizer item that is a noodle wrapped wonton affair, are good choices. The noodle wrap item might have to be asked for since it was not on the menu when we went in. The staff also explains that the spiciness of the dishes runs from 1 to 10 (lowest to highest), you can choose your heat/spiciness. They are not shy on servings so bring an appetite or take home a doggie bag (it reheats great!). The food is cooked to order, so you can relax with something to drink from the selection of exotic beers, Thai drinks, or wine. We have been about 4 times and choose something different each time. It will take a while, but we plan to work our way through the menu, heartily and happily.
