Natraj Cuisine of India
This is known as a high-ticket Indian restaurant that is still a great value. The atmosphere is low-key and the focus is on the food. The clientele is diverse, with businesspeople stopping in for the popular lunch buffet and others coming in for dinner to enjoy a relaxing meal. There is live music in the evenings, featuring classic Indian melodies. The menu is north Indian, with a heavy focus on lamb and chicken, with dishes curries and vindaloo. The vegetables are also very good and packed with flavor. The tandoori dishes are spectacular and are made in the famous clay oven. Beer and wine are served with a few bottles of wine available in the low-to-medium price range.
I love Palak Paneer(Spinach Curry)!! There tandoories are very good too.
Lunch buffet is good value. You can eat more than 5 different kinds of curry plus salad and rice pudding.
I went to several Indian restaurants, but this place was better than other places!
I love this restaurant! The food is awesome and the servers are always very friendly. We go here a couple time every month and always left happy. I would recommend it highly to anyone. Our favorite dish is the chicken tikka masala.
This little Indian joint tucked away in a strip mall next to BigLots must be a well kept secret, because the place is never very busy but is usually filled with indian families and other regulars from the area. Perfect samosas, tasty naan, an original take on the standard dishes and a few of their own creation make this place (so far) the best Indian choice in the area. And the mulligatawny soup is the closest yet to the Oven in Lincoln, NE, which has set the standard. Definitely stop by if you're in the area (or near their other location in Laguna Beach).
This small restaurant provides a tasty variety of Indian dishes for the experienced and novice palate. The service is friendly and prompt.
Of course, all good things come with a cost. Dinner with beer can get rather pricey, but it is fine for special occasions. The ambiance is limited.
Natraj's weekday lunch buffet is a good value, however.
I eat at Natraj about once a month.
Whoever gave this place such a low rating has impossible standards. Natraj has a great atmosphere, consistently good service, friendly management, and the best Indian food in Orange County. I highly recommend the Dahl, Seasoned Rice, Chicken Marsala and ANY of their deserts. All are fabulous.
