DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! We had a disagreement over the price of a bottle of wine, the manager was called over to our table and proceeded to be rude, arrogant and vulgar to us in front of the entire restaurant. He was the most unprofessional person we have ever encountered. Do not waste your money at this place. There are so many other Italian restaurants in HB with great food and professional service. One more thing...the manager was NOT Italian.

Terribly rude manager. Completely unprofessional. They intentionally try to sell you more expensive bottles of wine. I won t go back.

My granddaughter and her boyfriend went to Luigi's Saturday night and had a horrible experience! My granddaughter ordered the Fettucini Alfredo and it was very watery and had no taste so she sent it back. When asked if she would like something else she said no thank you her appetite was ruined. The Manager came over and was very rude and proceded to tell her that there was nothing wrong with the Alfredo and if she planned to share her boyfriends meal she would be charged a sharing fee. (her boyfriend had order a pizza) Really?? With this economy you would think that customer service would be of primary importance. I just wonder if it would have been adults and not teens if they might have been treated with some respect! Our family has been in the Restaurant business for over 30 years and would never think of treating our customers like that!

My daughter and I had breakfast at Luigi's this morning. Lunch/Dinner maybe but not breakfast! The bacon in the omelette was very freezer burnt. The tomatoes were left over from some other time and had massive dew drops? I dont know but I just havnt felt good all day since breakfast. No warmer on coffie. I'll try again for a real Itallian meal and see if its better!

We went Saturday night around 5:30pm. The front patio was filled, but the inside dining area had only one other couple. This was our first visit, but will not be the last. Nora our server is from Naples, and she knows her wine! We started with the crostini topped with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes (has a nice organic green salad under it). EXCELLENT partner to the barolo we had ordered. We also had the eggplant parmagiana appetizer - this could be a meal by itself. It was light, not greasy, and you could taste the eggplant (a problem with many restaurants that think the cheese and sauce are the main ingredient). We ordered the special filet mignon strips with rigatoni pasta and creamy madera sauce. We were so full, but managed to get through about a fourth of it. Luigi's is not skimpy on portions. The menu has a lot of intereting appetizers and some different entrees. Can be a little noisy as there is a bar upstairs, but the service and food more than make up. We are going back to try the other other appetizers.

Luigi's is an excellent Italian Restaurant. They offer a wide variety of appetizers, as well as excellent entrees. I would recommend this place to anyone. We have eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. We have also celebrated many birthdays here. They are very accomodating. Enjoy!! YUM!!
