We went Saturday night around 5:30pm. The front patio was filled, but the inside dining area had only one other couple. This was our first visit, but will not be the last. Nora our server is from Naples, and she knows her wine! We started with the crostini topped with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes (has a nice organic green salad under it). EXCELLENT partner to the barolo we had ordered. We also had the eggplant parmagiana appetizer - this could be a meal by itself. It was light, not greasy, and you could taste the eggplant (a problem with many restaurants that think the cheese and sauce are the main ingredient). We ordered the special filet mignon strips with rigatoni pasta and creamy madera sauce. We were so full, but managed to get through about a fourth of it. Luigi's is not skimpy on portions. The menu has a lot of intereting appetizers and some different entrees. Can be a little noisy as there is a bar upstairs, but the service and food more than make up. We are going back to try the other other appetizers.
