Legendary Las Brisas has been southern California's definitive place to enjoy fantastic and resplendent coastal views. The menu at Las Brisas brims with the authentic cuisine of the Mexican Riviera and is filled with recipes discovered along the 3000 miles of Mexico's coast. The stunning setting makes Las Brisas the perfect venue for a host of events and their renowned Sunday Brunch is the premier way to unwind and take in a gorgeous day. We went for lunch and my steak salad was pretty nasty. The meat tasted old, I only ate the shell that it was served on. The appetizer's were small and overpriced. The waitress came over once to see how were were doing. NOT WORTH THE VIST!!
Terrible service, waited an hour with a reservation. The patio was full of people and servers were rude and self centered. I asked one of them a question and they acted like they didnt know. The view seems nice but thats about it.
Beware- the scenic location of this restaurant ensures crowds, consequently, the service is not consistently good. After waiting more than 45 min with reservation, very, very long waits between courses, half of our party's entres were lukewarm, if that. The dessert was the best part of the meal- that and finally being able to get the check.
The service was great! The food isn't authentic Mexican food! It lacked any flavor that would indicate mexican cuisine. If you like bland food you'll love this place. I will never go here again. Mexican people should be insulted by their claim at being authentic. They didn't even have refried beans or Mexican rice, they had white rice!!
So I guess all the people who favor marriage between a man and a woman should eat here according to the other review. Glad to see someone isn't afraid to stand for what they believe and practice free speech. Great place.
My Husband & I had our anniversary dinner there on 8/20/08 ...both of our dinners were delicious ! I had a Seafood special...Bonita w/Shrimp very very tasty...my Husband had the Steak and said it was wonderful! Even the Guacamole was yummy...Service was fine also...would love to have dinner there again..soon !
This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and view! I prefer the patio menu because it consists of more casual mexican fare and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The guacamole is excellant! Their Sunday brunch is also nice.
