I am particularly fond of Mexican food and they offered really exciting dishes to me. On our extremely low budget so we eat there once in a while. I like the Avila's El Ranchito in Costa Mesa and I would surely suggest every Mexican food lover to try it out once. Their staff is very attentive and friendly. We generally go to this place because they make us feel like one family.

Favorite Mexican Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Authentic Mexican Food. Good Service. Nice family atmosphere. Great homemade tortillas and salsa. The beans and rice are tasty. My favorite is the chile relleno. My wife's is the Avila chicken soup (bowl). It has avacado and great broth. This is our family favorite. (My other favorite is Taco Mesa).

The best freshly made Tortillas....

This place has to be one of the neatest authentic Mexican restaurants... It is family owned for 37 years. I had a Carnitas Tostada and the carnita was so flavorful. The hand made tortillas are to die for. They are made especially for your table when you walk in the door. The atmosphere is family friendly and also nice for a romantic date. All Mexican art and decor you would think you are in Mexico. I highly recommend checking it out.
