Fox Sports Grill, Irvine

FOX Sports Grill Review: I lile the FOX Sports Grill, and I think it is one of the best sports grills, I've ate in. I ordered the burger with cheddar cheese and bacon. The burger was good, and I also ordered chesse fries for the starter, and it was great, and for dessert, I ordered the grilled carrot cake, and it was good, because it was grilled. The service was very good, and I would go back there. I also like the ambiance, and the restaurant, because you can watch games, and it is on HD, and there is alot of flat screens in the restaurant, and I liked it. The only problem is that there is flies in the restaurant, and they go around in your food. 08-2009 Well this place has closed, it closed in 2008 I believe. They opened one in San Diego in the Spring of 2009 in the new San Diego Hilton Bayview, across from Petco Park. I went there in August of 2009, and compared to the one that was in Irvine, it's smaller, but has outdoor seating, like couches outside with fire places in the front, pretty nice huh. But this one is only a restaurant, and a bar. There is no pool table room, or a lounge, or a mini bowling alley like the one that was in Irvine. But again, I don't know what's the problem, but there was flies again around our food. At first there was no flies, and when we got our food, a flie came in, and flew around our food since the restaurant has an opening to the front to the patio. Well they opened one in September 2009 in Westlake Village where there headquaters are located. Well I hope to go to that one since it's closer to LA. They say that they are going to relocate the Irvine one in Anaheim, and they say it might be in the Anaheim Hilton. I hope they open one there, so it's closer to LA. They say first, it will open early 2009, but I don't know, it probaly hasn't been planned yet, probaly late this year, 2009, or next year, they will open the one in Anaheim.

The food at this place is mediocre at best. Of the 5 or 6 times that I have been forced (by friend) to eat this place I have actually enjoyed the food one measly time!! The service: don't get me started on that... it has to be the worst in the region. I honestly don't think this place would still be in business had it not had the financial backing of Fox Corporation.

THE QUALITY OF FOOD IS SO BAD. SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. MICROWAVE FOOD TASTE BETTER THIS PLACE. SOMEBODY NEED TO TRAIN THOSE CLUMSY CHEF. WHO SERVE HOT FOOD TO CUSTOMERS IF THEY KNOW IT IS COLD? WHO WOULD SERVE OLD SALAD TO CUSTOMERS?

...lots of tv's with the games... the food isn't so great. you gotta get the homemade chips and the desserts are pretty good, too. other than that, it's all about the game... rock, chalk, KU!
