I am from NY and read some good reviews and as others from NY know that that is no other Pizza like NY Pizza. And this place doesn't come anywhere near close to NY Pizza. The cheese was wrong, the sauce did not work at all and worst of all was the crust. If you can't get the cheese and the crust right - why bother saying NY Pizza. Tried it once and was severerly disappointed. The only good review was the way they sliced the sausage topping, it wasnt crumbed like other spots. Maybe they should have the some Hudson River water flown out to help. Just bad bad bad.
As a native New Yorker, I am really picky when it comes to my pizza. I have to say that this is the closest I have had to NY pizza here in So Cal. Incredible! As I sat there eating a slice of their eggplant parmesan pizza, I had to remember I was actually still in California and not in my favorite pizza place in Long Island, NY! Try it - you will not be disappointed.
This pizza is some of the best in the city. It even gives Ray's Pizza and Z-pizza a run for their money. The best part is they deliver after 5 so its perfect for college students tired of mediocre pizza
