Pepe's Mexican Restaurant, Canyon Lake

I have not been to Pepe s in many years. Decided I needed to go. I was craving their food and wanted to see if it was the same. It was delicious! The melon margaritas are so good! Will be going back again this week.

Suprisingly good! We were just randomly driving around looking for a place to eat, and we stumbled across Pepe's COMPLETELY by accident. They were VERY accomodating for our party, which included a 20 month old toddler--with LOTS of energy! A great place to take the family! Great Service, and Great Food, as well!

Personally, I don't think the food is that great...good one day, bad the next...but they do make one HECKUVA bloody mary! :) Their Margaritas are good too!

My family found PePe's when we moved up here from San Diego & fell in love with it!! The staff, the food & especially the Margaritas!! We go back often and are never disappointed!

Pepe's is American style mexican food, if that makes any sense? Atmosphere is great, but the food will leave you disapointed if you are like me and enjoy real mexican style taste.

I found Pepe's to be a disapointment. The food was cheesy and loaded with salt. The guacamole was old and most of the food too greasy for my taste. I have been to most of the Mexican Restaurants in the area and this one is no where near the top of my list. From the other rave reviews they must think that the food is OK, but I have been back twice to see if it was just a bad night, but the same things were present.

I found pepe's to be a comfortable, affordable,& enjoyable experience. being a parent of a 4 yr old, restraunts can be tricky yet the waitress was well aware & my child wasn't a problem, cause she was on the (4 yr. old) ball. a rare relief. I got to enjoy good food, on a nicely muraled patio, & the margaritas were perfect! great authentic food & drinks, nice setting, and great service. an overall pleasure.

Awesome food. If your looking for value, quailty and quantity go eat at Pepe's! They have some serious authentic food. Fun bar! Great managers, especially Gary!!!
