I just moved to Temecula. My husband and I eat out a lot!!! We love Mexican food and tried one of the other ones in the area and it was horrible. The Bank is the name of it, which is directly across the street from Rosa's. Rosa's has a large menu for a pay at the register type restaurant. They also have a serve yourself salsa bar, which normally I am not a big fan of until I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago. There are many different selections of salsa. The chips are served hot and the salsa bar also has other things to spice up your meal like chopped onions and fresh cilantro. We have tried several different items there, but the salsa(which you can buy in larger amounts to go) and chips are the best. The enchiladas, tacos, tamales, taco salad, burritos and fried ice cream are outstanding. The quality is better than some BIG name Mexican chain restaurants. You get more than you can eat for two large appetites for less than $14.00!!! You also get sit down restaurant type quality food for fast food prices. It's clean, nice but not fancy. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere light. I would bring my friends, family or even business partners here. Try it! You won't be dissapointed!
When you drive through historic old town Temecula, you see a few places to eat. Rosa's Cantina appears to be just another casual mexican food restaurant. But the food simply tastes better than I'm used to. The chicken plate is simple and straight forward. Yet has a unique flavor that will keep you coming back. I have yet to find something on their menu that disappoints.
