Jo'An's Restaurant & Bar, Idyllwild

We dined at Jo'An's on January 19, 2006. We were seated immediately upon arrival and served drinks. We enjoyed the hides used as curtains, the Union Pacific toy train that circles the entire restaurant. There were three in our party and we all opted for different burgers. The mushroom burger with its sauteed 'shrooms was wonderful. All the trimmings were thoughtfully placed on the side. Drinks were refilled promptly. The fries could have been warmer, but were tasty. The service was prompt and courteous. The bathrooms were clean. Take care when leaving the bathroom area not to push the door open too fast or too far. The staff workstation is behind the door and your could startle or injure someone. Ask to be seated in the far left corner as you enter and you will be treated to a spectacular view of the mountain. We will dine there again.
