I did not like the small menu selection, Our waiter took to long to come back off break and her replacement was no help. I went on a friday night which may be why I waited a hour to be seated not a good place to go on a date too many kids roam around with nothing to do the food was at best alright
What a super idea turning an old packing house into a restaurant! The food there is great, and not expensive. My kids really enjoyed eating there, as well. The service was super!! I had a really fun time there. I can't wait to go again!!
I had an Entree combonation of Chicken Marsula and the Traditional Lasagna. The Chicken, Mushrooms, and Marsula Sauce was delicious and the Lasagna was equally wonderfull and filling. All dinners include Soup or Salad, fresh warm Bread, and Spamoni Icecream for desert. We found it to be an excellant value, can't be beat.
The decor was intriguing, what with the Head and Footboard Booths, Trolly Car Dining, beautiful panneling and Antiques everywhere. The ornate Antique Bar is awe inspireing. There is always something new to look at.
We won't wait for a special occaision to go back. Defianately worth a second and third visit.
The food tastes great. Most of the basic Italian recipes are outstanding. There are also some more fancy dishes for the daring types. I almost always order the same thing (the manager's favorite with meat sauce and alfredo). The garlic cheese bread is a tasty appetizer. The cream sodas come with an OSF glass you can keep. The value has to be one of the best features of the OSF. For under $20 you can have dinner, desert, drinks, and a salad for two. The atmosphere is Victorian and just about every OSF has a trolley with seating inside. The lighting is just right and the wood floors add to the the ambiance. The OSF lends itself to young couples with a budget and to large families.
