Just went to this wonderful restaurant for Mother's Day 2010. Can't say enough about our fantastic experience. Excellent rating for service, quality, taste, presentation, and a feeling of being invited to a delightful home for dinner. Can't wait t go back, and won't spend our money elsewhere. Awesome prices!
The new Pacific Cabin has the same great taste at the same price. I've been to Ooka a few times; kinda nice on the inside. No all you can eat menu though. Even if they did I still would go to Cabin! An all you can eat menu price with an exquisite mouth watering taste. Joe's doesn't even land on the same radar; maybe if those drunk sushi chefs could make decent roll. Anyways your real choices are I guess between Pacific Cabin and Ooka. If u want to spend about $100 for dinner for two go to Ooka. You spend half of that price at the new Pacific Cabin right down the street from the old location; bigger, better and quieter.
A friend suggested this to me for great sushi at a low price. Unfortunately, it didn't really live up to the hype. It was pretty good sushi, but I have had better. And, the prices weren't really that great either. They are pretty consistent with what you will find at other sushi places.
I will probably go again, and I would suggest it to other people as long as you don't go in expecting great sushi for a low price. Instead, expect good sushi for an okay price.
If you loved Cabin Sushi on market Street then the new pacific Cafe Sushi will blow your mind. Same great food from Cabin now accrossed the street in a much larger resturaunt. Two big screen TV's to watch the game and great food and service to boot.
