Beaver Medical group referred me to Angelo's and I really wanted to try their pastrami. I thought the service was fast, friendly and accurate. The pastrami was a good portion and had a good bite, however it was a little to salty as was my friends turkey salad. The macaroni was okay and prices were reasonable. Ray's Downtown Deli located on 168 so. E St. in San Bernardino has a wide variety of choices and very reasonable prices. I believe everyone should shop and compare these places. www.raysdowntowndeli.com check them out.

Native from Loma Linda, I moved away for 10 years living in Indiana and Florida. My favorite two meals at Angelo's are the Pastrami Sandwich and the Spaghetti with 2/3 mizithra and 1/3 meat sauce. I used to freeze the pastrami from Angelo's and bring it back with me. My husband and I would fight over it. What many peopel don't know is that you can ask for combinations. I particularly like the Pastrami with Turkey Salad (and sometimes Avocado). The Turkey Salad balances out the saltiness of the Pastrami. If you're vegetarian, you will have to choose your own combination. As a side note, I used to freeze the pastrami and take it wherever I was living in the US at the time, and my husband and I would fight over it. It is a bit fatty, but yes, it is that good! You can get the rolls without the oil, but then they're a bit dry, so the oil and cheese make them more yummy. With the one negative review, it is possible that they went at the end of the day when the rolls aren't as fresh. I suggest going during lunch. There will be a line, but they bake their rolls fresh daily and they will be wonderful.

R u kidding me??? I went there with my husband because of the good reviews here. We were both very disappointed by this place and their food. The food tastes more like the hospital food or maybe worse. I didn't understand why there were so many hospital employees there since i think the Loma Linda Hospital Cafeteria has better food. Here the food has a blunt taste. My spaghetti sauce is 10x better than theirs, their bread rolls are spongy and the menu is very limited. The Patio at the Loma Linda Market is by far better in taste and choices than this shallow place.

Best spaghetti marinara EVER
By ,
I always get the spaghetti marinara with cheese...it's simply the best spaghetti I've ever had. Their Italian rolls are awesome, if a bit soggy...I always try to eat here whenever I get the chance. Oh, and be sure to get the half-order of pasta--it's enough for two meals!

Best Sandwiches in this area!
By ,
If you want a good sandwich, you have to come here. All of the area hospital employees will confess this place is wonderful. The turkey salad is delicios, and the BBQ beef is scrumptious. Friendly casual atmosphere. Frequented by doctors, nurses, and medical staff.

Good Food Fast
By ,
This place has great sandwichs accompanied with a side of delicious macaroni and any vegetable sides or pickels you wish to add from the relish bar. They also offer great pastas, I love the spaghetti with cheese. You can get any item as a half order which is more than enought food, but if your really hungry get a full order.
