LA Casita Cafe, Hesperia

I have been going to La Casita for over 10 years. The resturant started out very good, service and food. For the last few years it has gone down hill. Most of the good waitress and waiters have left and some of the old ones are more interested in going to the front and getting people to make sure their sections are full and forget the people who are setting there. The dont like to clean the tables and the dishes pile up while you visit with your friends. The food gets no better but the prices keep going up. I am tires of lousy service and leaving tips for people who do not deserve it. I dont recommend this resturant to my friends any longer.

Food is OK. The place could be cleaner. I don't really trust them from what I've seen. I've had pretty good service and nice servers BUT I believe they talk crap behind customers backs. They speak spanish to each other and to a few customers, then laugh with each other. I've seen intoxicated spanish speakers sitting at tables, who appeared to know or be friends with employees. They like to speak spanish, stare at other people and laugh among themselves. They act like they are smart and getting away with something. I won't be back. The owner should remember who pays the bills. The problem is there are so few places in Hesperia to eat , this place will still make money, no matter how people act there.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and don't mind it not being the fanciest place, then go to La Casita. The food is excellent and the prices are very fair. However, the service is not always fast.

Decent food. The margarita's are made with wine?? Which was pretty disapointing and it was a lil dirty. We sat in a booth with a direct view of the area where they prepare the baskets of chips and there was tons chips all over the floor..just walking all over em. Not such a great visual.

The place is not clean and they quite often have a B Health Rating from the County. The food is greasy. Some of the waitresses are horribly rude and the Manager doesn't seem to care. I suggest you skip this place.

IM ALLERGIC TO ONION AND ASKED NOT TO HAVE ONION ON ANY OF MY FOOD WHAT SO EVER....THEY HAD TO DO MY DISH 2 TIMES AND STILL GOT IT WRONG

The food is great the service is great most of the time

The atmosphere was ok, however my food had a piece of hair in it. Which totally grossed me out. And the lack of sanitation was horrible. I found it to be a pretty dirty place. I would much rather go to La Casita on Palmdale in Victorville. A MUCH nicer place. I mean if it's that dirty from what my eyes can see, it's what's in the back that I can't see that is a bit disturbing to me. It is very cheap food so I guess you get what you pay for.
