Cedar Creek Inn
This classic restaurant is a long-standing favorite for lunch, dinner and a Sunday brunch. Although the restaurant is by no means a discount one, it does offer some unexpectedly low-priced items alongside the more deluxe entrees. The Medallions of Beef Tenderloin come from corn-fed beef and sit beneath a dollop of creamy Bearnaise sauce. If you want something lighter, enjoy one of the sandwiches. The homemade desserts are wonderful, particularly the signature Apricot Bundt Cake and the Lemon Lush, a cheese filling inside a walnut crust, topped with lemon.
The food was great, and had spectacular service all-around. The restaurant has a great surrounding aspect and, is a place where you can bring anyone to. I enjoyed the restaurant very much and can't wait to go back.
During our holiday visit to Palm Springs, CA, my partner and I visited Cedar Creek Inn for dinner one evening. We were there in a party of 7, but the traffic that evening wasn't heavy so we were seated immediately and offered drinks.
The appetizers were very tasty. For a main, I had the lobster fetticini. Excellent! For dessert, we shared a slice of cake that was truly heavenly.
Great food. You'll enjoy the atmosphere as well.
Ive always enjoyed the food - it's always been excellent. After leaving the desert for 13 years; it was wonderful to see Cedar Creek still operating. BUT the furniture has NEVER been cleaned- it is grimy and gross. I have to drag my colleagues to eat there; I go just for the chopped salad - now, I take it TO GO.
If the FRONT of the house is dirty, then probaby the KITCHEN is too. I stopped going. How do you guys get an A rating??
this is the worst place in the desert to eat, yet they somehow charge $11 for a hamburger and serve you something straight from Mcdonalds with a straight face. Bratworst cost $9 served on a hot dog bun with patato salad from a jar. The only reason i gave it one star is that is the lowest possible on this scale otherwise it gets no stars. Just aweful, I can still feel my belly angry at me for eating at this place three hours ago. YUCK! Stay away!
This is the most beautiful restaurant we visited on our honeymoon stay in Palm Springs.
They have a very diverse menu and the staff attended to us flawlessly. All this and VERY REASONABLE prices too!! And also all their desserts were homemade!!!
Enjoyed the Cedar Creek Inn breakfast menu , the decor was very nice , but, I, one who is allergic to dust, noticed that all the archway moldings, windows and doors were filthy with a layer of dirt....maybe housekeeping has no ladders, who knows. When they are cleaned, I will go back.
