My favorite desert Japanese restaurant was discovered last weekend after 5 years in the desert. I went back-to-back nights just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Yep, it's the real deal. Japanese Issei owned with all the dishes my nisei mother still makes for me. Slices of heaven.
the food is good i can say that but the maneger shes very unfriendly and an old man that works there chase us to parking lot asking for hes tip,i told him i put it inside the box at the bar where the tip should go if your having sushi.i dont know if the maneger change her attittude but she should or hopefully its a different one
MY WIFE AND I MOVED TO PALM DESERT LAST YEAR AND HAPPENED TO STOP IN AT TANPOPO FOR DINNER. WE ENJOYED IT THE FIRST TIME AND WENT BACK FOR SECONDS. THE FOOD (ESPECIALLY THE SUSHI) WAS FRESH AND VERY TASTY; THE STAFF WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND THE SERVICE WAS FAST WITHOUT BEING RUSHED.
