I'm wondering if we went to the same restaurant everyone is raving about. Our calzones were soggy on the bottom and just gross. The service was not great either.

There has never been a better Italian restaurant anywhere. The pizza here is superb and the rest of the fare is as good as or better than most.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place out, I ordered the manicotti and got food poisoning from it, the noodles were hard and there wasn't much sauce on the plate. My girlfriends ziti was the same but without the food poisoning, her wine glass also had lipstick all over it and the waitress seemed burdened to get her a new glass. We will not be going back and good luck if you try this place.

My husband and I had only been living in barstow for a short while when we found Dinapolis Firehouse restaurant. We were looking for a place that had really good pizza. After searching online for a while and reading some reviews we found this place and decided to give it a try. We loved the atmosphere. It was just like being in an old firehouse. They have a huge firetruck inside which was neat. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing. It was an overall comfortable setting which we were a fan of. The dining area was spacious and the customer service was good. You could tell from the staff that it was a family run business. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and portion. We got a custom built pizza and it was one of the best that we have ever had. One of the down sides was that there is a very limited selection of beer on tap which my husband was not too big of a fan of. Other than that we loved the entire experience and we will definately be going back there again.

I love this place. Every time I have eaten there...I walk out, so satisfied. I love the music they play and I love all the memorabilia in the restaurant. I always get the philly cheese steak or fettuccine alfredo. The best!!! Better than Olive Gardens fettuccine...kinda.....anyway I hope they never have to close down....

By far the best food in town. Best Italian food I have ever had for that matter. Servers are always great. Always bring out exactly what you want, how you ask for it. Priced very well considering the food you get and that its in California. Also they have an amazing Red Italian dressing that I wish I could have all the time.

As long time residents of Barstow, my wife and I generally avoid this restaurant because of the beer and pizza house crowd atmosphere in the evening. Yesterday, we decided to try it in the afternoon before the loud dinner crowd came in. We ordered lasagna and water. We were served our water in tinted glasses. Although generous, both of us thought the pasta was thick and doughy to chew. When we received our bill, the waitress had charged us $4+ for iced tea and was insistent about it. I was equally insistent that it was only water. She got huffy and said the cashier/hostess would take care of it up front. Regardless, I left a $4 tip and was surprised that I was still charged $2 for our water. I did not dispute it further, but won't be returning anytime soon.

This was the first mom and pop place I ate in Barstow and it gave me a good impression. The food was good. It was kind of pricey but we bought a few different dishes to try. The atmosphere was nice and the decor was fun to look at. The service was satisfactory. I'd recommend it.
