Elephant Bar Restaurant, San Diego

We have always had GREAT service in Rancho Bernardo. I guess we are the lucky ones.

We had a terrible experience at the Rancho Bernardo Elephant Bar on 3/7/09. We ate at a high top in the bar and waited for over 20 minutes to order. Everyone around us was being waited on, but for some reason we continued to be ignored. We finally ordered at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. Throughout our entire meal the waitress that was waiting on all of the tables around us completely ignored us. We went back to the bar to order dessert and pay our check. I will not return.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. You can always find something for everyone in your party. The staff is always great & helpful.

This place is awesome I go for lunch and get there trip tip steak with mash potatoes and cheese bread served with a side of onion strings... This is the best...

This place is our home away from home. The staff treats us like family, the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. We frequent there at least 3-4 times per month. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a tasty meal, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend the EBR.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Went for the first time a couple months ago and have probably been back 7 or 8 times since. Haven't had a bad meal yet, service is usually very good. Even had a manager come by on numerous occasions, thought that was a nice touch. Very reasonably priced as well.

Wanted to have a small birthday dinner party there only to find out that they don't take reservations. As many of us know trying to get a party of 8 to 10 people is hard enough even in restaurants that do take reservations. Why would I even bother? So I'm not and will probably never try this restaurant.
